      On top of the demands of epilepsy, I felt like a failure with my other kids as I was introduced as the “mystery mom,” rarely attending their activities. My days were filled with therapy appointments, prayers to get through just one more day, and thanksgiving for the simplest things- . A night of birthday drinks with my husband, little sleep and just being “mom” was enough to give me my first seizure in 2 1/2 years.       Hello everyone,My mom has had epilepsy since she has been a little girl. When she was younger she would have terrible seziures and go into the whole shaking thing. Now that my mom is older she no longer has those types of seziures. What happens now is really weird.
